Basilica of St Paul
The Basilica of St Paul is connected to the passing of the disciple Paul through Kos, which has been recorded in the Acts of the Apostles. It refers to a big basilica with three naves, an arch in the east and an antenave in the west.
Length wise on both sides of the temple there are storage areas and close to the arch there is a baptistery. Even though they were almost ruined, quite a few have been preserved.
Old Christian Basilica - Kapama
The Basilica of Kapama is located in the village of Zipari and is similar to the Basilica of St Paul. It has three naves, an arch in the east and an antenave in the west with the difference being the position of the baptistery, which is situated in the centre of the southern side. The mosaic floors have mainly geometrical shapes which are sometimes surrounded by birds, fish and beetles
